GoOffice Offline Workspace
GoOffice Offline Workspace is a managed desktop app for people who need access to local documents, mail drafts, and work queues even when connectivity is slow, intermittent, or temporarily unavailable.
What it does
Offline Workspace is not a separate product that drifts away from the GoOffice cloud. On first launch, it asks for your GoOffice ID, registers the computer as a managed device, and connects the desktop app to your GoOffice account, mail, files, and subscription status.
The app creates a GoOffice Offline Workspace folder on the device for Documents, Templates, Shared files, Mail, Outbox, SyncQueue, and Metadata. Local files remain accessible even if the subscription expires.
Your GoOffice email account is added automatically and cannot be removed from the app. Users may add other mail accounts later, but the GoOffice account remains the managed primary account.
New documents are created as open document files for text, spreadsheets, and presentations. This keeps the default workflow aligned with open standards while still allowing export and conversion paths later.
Designed for real work conditions
Managed access
GoOffice Offline Workspace checks whether the account has an active Offline Workspace subscription. When active, mail, document creation, editing, and sync queues are available. If the subscription lapses, those paid features pause, but local files remain available for viewing, copying, and moving.
Users can enable or extend Offline Workspace from their GoOffice account using credits. Staff with the right permissions can also grant access directly for support or approved business cases.
Each installation registers a device identity with GoOffice.ph. This gives the platform a way to recognize managed desktop clients and tie activation to the correct account and device.
GoOffice staff can issue signed activation codes that unlock the desktop app for a specific duration. This is useful for support, temporary access, or cases where the user cannot complete a normal online renewal immediately.
