Release Notes
Version 1.0.15 · Published August 13, 2026
Responsive meetings and dependable host removal
- Keeps meeting controls inside the video stage instead of overlapping the participant list.
- Resizes focused video with the visible browser window and keeps Android Chrome meetings above the fixed bottom navigation.
- Makes a confirmed host Kick remove the selected participant from the realtime meeting and revoke the participant's current meeting token.
- Updates Safari's participant list immediately and reports a clear error if the realtime meeting service cannot complete removal.
Version 1.0.14 · Published July 26, 2026
One clear exit control during every call
- Keeps one Leave control beside Chat, Whiteboard, and Copy link during an active call.
- Removes the duplicate room-header Leave action so the compact layout stays focused on meeting setup and scheduling.
- Preserves the same meeting exit, media cleanup, and rejoin behavior for signed-in participants and guests.
Version 1.0.13 · Published July 25, 2026
A visible exit for every participant
- Adds Leave to the compact in-call toolbar used by guests on phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Keeps Chat, Whiteboard, Copy link, and Leave in one stable control row on compact video layouts.
- Prepares the next native Connect build for the current Google Play Android target requirement.
Version 1.0.12 · Published July 17, 2026
Clearer controls and faster meeting recovery
- Shows Mute everyone except host as neutral when inactive and red when the host has turned the rule on.
- Releases the presenter turn when the browser screen picker is cancelled or no share starts, so another participant can share without waiting for the first presenter to leave.
- Adds Rejoin after a participant leaves so the last call can be reopened without finding the shared room link again.
- Keeps participants in the meeting when a microphone cannot start, adds Retry audio for microphone or playback recovery, and retries sound after the connection returns.
Version 1.0.11 · Published July 15, 2026
More dependable meetings across browsers and devices
- Adds background blur and replacement with self-hosted foreground processing, including Safari-compatible processing and clear recovery when a browser cannot apply an effect.
- Keeps the camera visible while an effect is prepared, preserves the active camera when processing cannot complete, and distinguishes device-permission failures from expired sessions.
- Restores a dedicated in-meeting conversation view with an obvious path back to the meeting across phone, tablet, and desktop layouts.
- Keeps a clearly labeled Leave action in the room header throughout voice and video calls, then restores the Voice and Video starters after exit.
- Compresses Related work into a one-line mobile strip while retaining its complete tablet and desktop presentation.
- Promotes the tested beta meeting runtime without merging the production and beta data channels.

Clear voice-call exit and compact mobile context

- Replaces the inactive Voice and Video starters with Leave while a call is active, then restores them after the participant exits.
- Compresses Related work into a one-line mobile strip with Create and Open actions while retaining its full tablet and desktop presentation.
- Verifies the active-call and post-leave states across phone, tablet, and desktop layouts in Chromium and WebKit.
Version 1.0.6 · Published July 14, 2026
Voice-call exit and mobile workspace density
- Adds an always-visible Leave action to active voice calls so every participant can exit without searching below the call stage.
- Keeps the same call-exit location and visual treatment across phone, tablet, and desktop layouts.
- Reduces the mobile Related work area to a compact strip while preserving Create, Open, and the full related-work dialog.
Version 1.0.10 beta · Beta candidate published July 14, 2026
Safari video-background compatibility
- Restores background blur and replacement on Safari versions that require the legacy WebAssembly CSP compatibility token.
- Confines the broader compatibility allowance to the beta Connect runtime while production keeps the stricter policy.
- Adds a live two-account visual regression that verifies processed video locally and for the remote participant.
Version 1.0.9 beta · Beta candidate published July 14, 2026
Browser-ready background processing
- Allows the self-hosted foreground processor to compile its WebAssembly runtime under the Connect security policy.
- Keeps general JavaScript evaluation blocked while permitting only the browser capability required for WebAssembly video processing.
- Runs blur and background-replacement regression tests under the same restrictive browser policy used by Connect.
Version 1.0.8 beta · Beta candidate published July 14, 2026
Foreground-aware video backgrounds
- Applies background blur to the space behind the participant while keeping the person clear.
- Replaces the camera background with the selected GoOfficePH scene instead of covering it with an ineffective overlay.
- Uses self-hosted foreground-segmentation assets so the effect can run without loading a third-party model during the meeting.
- Keeps the local preview and published camera synchronized when effects are applied or the camera is switched.
- Leaves the current camera active with clear recovery guidance when a browser cannot process video backgrounds.
Version 1.0.7 beta · Beta candidate published July 14, 2026
Reliable beta meeting startup
- Restores the supported camera startup path for meetings that use the standard unprocessed camera.
- Keeps blur, replacement backgrounds, and green-screen processing isolated to meetings that intentionally enable an effect.
- Distinguishes camera or microphone permission failures from an expired GoOfficePH session so recovery guidance matches the actual problem.
- Preserves the separate beta app and API channel while the live Connect app remains on its published production version.
Version 1.0.6 beta · Beta candidate published July 14, 2026
Reliable video effects and in-meeting chat
- Keeps the current camera visible while blur or a replacement background is prepared.
- Switches to the processed camera only after a live video frame is ready, and keeps the previous camera active if the browser cannot complete the effect.
- Opens a dedicated in-meeting conversation view from the Chat control, with a Meeting control to return to video.
- Keeps messages, the reply field, and Send visible above the meeting navigation on phones.
- Verifies the meeting and chat layouts across phone, tablet, and desktop viewports in Chromium, WebKit, and Firefox.
Version 1.0.5 · Published July 13, 2026
Reliable PiP in normal meeting mode
- Shows the participant PiP rail as soon as another camera joins a meeting that opened in normal mode.
- Restores PiP immediately after switching between front and rear cameras without requiring a tile-view round trip.
- Preserves the selected main speaker, tile mode, screen-share focus, and responsive PiP limits.
- Keeps Chat, Whiteboard, Copy link, and Leave controls reliably tappable above the live video layer.
- Verifies focused meeting layouts across desktop, tablet, iPhone, and Android-sized browser profiles.
Version 1.0.4 · Published July 13, 2026
Guest invitation recovery
- Corrected guest-link routing so shared meeting invitations load the Connect client and open the invited room instead of stopping at the public website shell.
- Replaces unusable join controls with clear account-creation and website actions when a guest invitation is invalid, expired, or unavailable.
- Keeps the existing guest and signed-in join choices unchanged for valid invitations.
- Verifies the recovery layout across phone, tablet, and desktop browsers.
Version 1.0.3 · Published July 12, 2026
Connected meeting context
- Connects the active room or meeting to related work, files, calendar items, and Whiteboards through GoOfficePH.
- Keeps room context permission-checked and scoped to the meeting rather than copying chat content into another app.
Version 1.0.2 · Published July 10, 2026
Meeting layout improvements
- Added a bottom PiP rail in focused video and screen-share layouts so up to four participant thumbnails can stay visible.
- Kept phone layouts compact by showing two thumbnails at a time with horizontal scrolling for the remaining visible PiP cards.
- Preserved tile view behavior for larger meetings while improving speaker and screen-share focus views.
Version 1.0.1 · Published July 10, 2026
